​RULES:

​

• Must be at least 18 years of age to enter your business, school or organization;

• Business, school or organization must be physically located in Yucaipa, Calimesa or Redlands and must not be a franchise;

• Every organization must upload a signed W9 with valid Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to participate;

• Business, school or organization must have an active Facebook account (no personal accounts allowed);

• The business, school or organization will be responsible for the payment of any taxes, if applicable, associated with the receipt of any winning funds or prizes.

HOW TO ENTER:

 

Step 1.

Register your school, business or organization by filling out the entry form questionnaire below and uploading your W9.

Step 2.

After your information is reviewed, you will receive an email confirming your organization’s entry, along with a promotional flyer specific to your organization.

 

IMPORTANT: If additional information is needed before your school, organization or business can be confirmed, you will be contacted via email with any additional questions.

Step 3.

Create a post on your Facebook page with the promotional flyer and pin the post to the top of your Facebook page. Make sure you tag @TheStevenDhillonLawFirm in your post.

IMPORTANT: The post must stay pinned to the top of your page until December 7.

​

Step 4.

Encourage your friends and followers to share your pinned post to their personal/business page.

​

IMPORTANT: @TheStevenDhillonLawFirm must be tagged in your pinned post for your shares to count. Ask your followers to tag @TheStevenDhillonLawFirm when sharing.

 

Only one share per person/account will be counted. Using the same account to share the post multiple times will only count as one share. For example, if ‘Jim’ shares your post to ten different pages, this only counts as one share, because all ten shares came from Jim’s account.

 

If a user’s privacy settings prevent their identity from being shown, their “share” will not be counted. For example, if an organization shows 16 shares, but only 12 profiles appear after clicking to see who shared the post, then only 12 shares will count. This is to prevent the same person/account from sharing the page multiple times without being seen. Make sure you allow the details of your shares to be public. If your and your followers settings are not set to “public,” your shares will not be counted because the details cannot be confirmed.

 

Duplicative or fake accounts that share your post will not be counted. Any organization suspected of violating any of these rules will be removed from participating in the giveaway.

 

Additional Details:

All decisions regarding the giveaway are made exclusively by Steven Dhillon, at his sole discretion. If your organization does not comport with the values or vision of Steven Dhillon/The Steven Dhillon Law Firm, your organization will not be permitted to enter the giveaway. 

 

The top 15 schools/businesses/organizations with the most “shares” of their promotional flyer post will each receive a single entry into a $25,000 drawing to be held on December 21, 2024 at Del Mar Grill & Cantina.

 

If a business, school or organization has more than one Facebook page, they may only count the shares from their highest-shared page. Hence, you will need to register multiple times if your school, business or organization has multiple Facebook pages. For example, an organization has 3 different Facebook pages: One page has 24 shares, one has 17 shares and one has 56 shares. Only the page with 56 shares will be counted. The shares from the three accounts will not be combined.

 

The school, business or organization with the total most shares will receive a bonus entry into the $25,000 drawing. Must have a minimum of 5 shares to qualify.

 

The top three schools, businesses or organizations with the most total shares will each receive a special prize before the grand prize drawing.

 

Sorry, current clients of The Steven Dhillon Law Firm and Del Mar Grill & Cantina, and its affiliates, are ineligible to enter. 

 

The final number of shares will be tabulated on December 7, 2024 at 9:00 am. The top 15 organizations with the most shares will then be announced. Up to 4 representatives of each qualifying organization will be invited to the grand prize drawing dinner on December 21, 2024, hosted at Del Mar Grill & Cantina, located in Yucaipa, CA.

 

Any top-15 organization that does not RSVP to the grand prize drawing by December 14, 2024 will be removed from the drawing and the organization with the next most shares will be substituted in.

 

Any organization that qualifies for but does not appear in-person at the grand prize drawing on December 21, 2024, will not be eligible to participate in the drawing. Must be present to win.
